Recover CIFS share permissions?

A 'helpful' admin removed 'everyone' from the security tab on a cifs share. Without adding anyone else. Is there any way to regain access to the share? VNX5700 7.0.52

Take ownership, if you can’t ask your domain admin to do it for you then give your account permissions
