Average read throughput
I'm recalling several hundred GB of files from file systems residing on a Celerra that have been stubbed using DX-NAS. It's taking forever, moving incredibly slow with the Centera showing stats of 2Kb per second for average read throughput.
Read statistics
----------------------------------------------------------------
Total read : 1,336 GB
Average throughput : 2 Kb per second
Total transactions : 159986933
Average transactions : 0 per second
Average size : 9 KB per transaction
Maximum lookup time : 6832 milliseconds
Network utilization is only running 1-2%, CPU on the DX-NAS server is running 20-30% with plenty of RAM to work with. At this point it appears the Centera is the bottleneck at only 2Kb/second.
Is this all the performance I can expect from this process? Or could something be misconfigured causing my read times to be so slow?
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
