Is there a way to change the retention of the document, after the document is commited to centera ?

For a PDF/Word/Excel documents having page count greater than 1000 or so, is it possible to do step by step retrieval. i.e. Retieve the first 100 pages first and retrieve pages from 101 - 200 next etc ?
