Cisco 9124e and McData 6140 (ED-140M)
Hello guys,
i am going to ISL a 9124e (HP C-blade integrated switch) and my McData director. I've ran this config through E-lab and it did not explicitly show 9124e as supported switch. It did show MDS 9120, 9140 ..etc. Is it safe to assume that 9124e is supported to be ISLed to 6140 ?
This is a brand new enclosure, i have not connected to the Cisco switch but it probably came with at least 3.x. My McData is running on 9.00.00.76. McData is set to "Open Fabric Mode 1.0", so i just need to set "Interopmode 1" on the Cisco ? Do i need to create any special VSANs or anything like that ? Anything else i should look for ?
Thanks
