No, you can't contact the manufacturer -- which is in China, as it is with HP.

If you need a system immediately, order one that is "ready to ship" or from a source that has the system you want in stock -- otherwise, you will need to wait until the system is built.  You haven't mentioned what system you've ordered, but there are global shortages of all sorts of chips, mostly centered around graphics processors.

When you placed the order, you should have received an estimated ship date -- on some systems, the wait time is indeed 30 days or longer.

Personal information here like order numbers and service tags etc is not allowed.

End users do not have access to the database.

I ordered the Alienware r14 and the estimated shipping date is July 26th, today is 23rd and still shown status of about to enter production. I know there’s a global shortage to the chips, but it’s really disappointed  when things are getting excesses to what you expected.

The order is experiencing part shortage and we’re trying to release/ship the order by Jul 29th, but these dates are estimated only and may push further depending upon fulfilment of the product.

Once the order is placed, depending on the availability for parts, logistics,  the product progresses in various stages

I placed an order a month earlier than you, still have not received mine too. HORRIBLE! If they know they have "Shortages" they need to inform customers, not just take simply take orders and lie about delivery dates. So we then can decide whether to proceed or find other alternatives.
