Unable to update webcam firmware

Hello everyone! There doesn't seem to be a section on here for Webcams so I am posting it here. Please move it if necessary. I just received a Dell UltraSharp Webcam and I am having some problems with it. I installed DDPM (the newest version) and when I try to update the firmware to the latest version I get a time out error shortly after the update process begins. The older DPM just crashes when I try to do it. I would really like to update the firmware on this fancy piece of tech, but it doesn't seem to be possible for some reason. Any help or insight would be great!
