SNMP Authentication to NetApp

Good morning,

One of my departments that I work with has their own set of NetApp filers which we replicate and back up our data to.  When we implemented DPA, we had an agreement with them to put in a "dpa" service account so that we could monitor and report on those backups going there.  There was no issue until this week.  Now, their management turned off that service account and has asked us to either import CSV files for their reports or authenticate through SNMP, which is what NetApp's tool does.

Since I would prefer to not rewrite all of the reports that I have done already, is there any method to configure SNMP authentication to a NetApp system to get the same results that you did when you had a service account?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Blake,

No unfortunately it is not possible to configure the collector to gather data from NetApp.

Thanks

Thank you David.  I was hoping I was wrong and that there was a little undocumented feature I could use.  Oh well.
