Mine did not work when I first got my 8100 (December 23). And I was unable (with phone support) to get it to work. And the appropriate drivers were installed (they are part of Dell Solution Center). Finally when I updated to one of the more recent versions of Solution Center it began to work. It is useless right now because I have switched to 2K (from ME) and have not got around to re-installing the Solution Center (all the ebutton does is open Solution Center).
Thanks Bill. I think I received my 8100 on the same day you did. Anyway, it's not that big of a deal, but I will try a new version of the solution center.
