Latitude E4310 BIOS not working with DCCU
Been trying to create a custom BIOS update package for our E4310s using DCCU v3.1.1230. I need to be able to pass the BIOS password to the package in order to make it a silent install. DCCU 3.1.1230 is supposed to support the E4310. I enable 'allow version downgrade', set the timeout to 0 and enter the pasword. When i click create update package i get 'internet explorer cannot display the webpage'. This is consistant regardles of which version of the E4310 bios file being used, i've tried A04/3/2/1. . Also, using the -writehdrfile switch does not do anything, no errors, nothing. I dont have problems with BIOS files for any of our OptiPlex 620/745/755/760/780, Latitute D620/630 or E4300.
Are the E4310 BIOS files compiled differently. I am trying to upgrade the BIOS for all machines on our network using an SCCM package and script. I already looked at implementing SCUP, but dont see a way to pass the BIOS password during the deployment in order to make it completely silent. Any help would be appreciated.
