I am assuming windows 10 is on the computer....

Please uninstall latest Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver (version 6.0.8895.1, A16) from computer.

Go to Settings>>Apps & features>>Realtek audio driver>>Uninstall

To Reinstall: Select Dell model number>> correct operating system>> download Realtek Audio driver

If refreshing latest audio driver doesn't fix the problem:

Expand Realtek Audio Driver in drivers & downloads page, try an older version of the Audio driver to see if it will make a difference.

If none of the above troubleshooting steps doesn't fix Audio driver, then it's time to reinstall windows.
