Inspiron G3 15 3590, hinge broken
Hi, the back of my laptop below the monitor where the hinges are located are broken. Whenever close my laptop screen, the left hinge extends further out of the G3 black rectangle and when I open the laptop there's a bulge in the bottom screen frame where the hinge is located. Is there anyway I can fix this?

I have the same problem with the hinge of my G3 3590 that has broken after ~7 months of normal usage.

The first time I brought it outside in January 2020, I came home and I noticed the top monitor was not aligned to the bottom keyboard half of the laptop. I didn't think much of it because I could just reposition it. Yesterday, it was fine until I opened it to use it this morning on April 20, 2020. When I closed it, the laptop made a cracking sound and I thought it was broken but it was the sound of the left hinge opening. I can snap it back into place but I am concern it will eventually break or affect the right hinge because it happens every time I close the laptop now. Is there a solution to this matter and what can I do? Any suggestions?

I have been in contact with Dell Cares and they sent a courier to my house to collect it and have fixed it and sent it back. Hopefully it won’t break this time!

Hello. Sadly Im another one into this ship. Bought this laptop in november, it doesnt left my desk since day one and now Im issuing this.
