Internet/ Memory Integrity Issues
Hello all
I have a Dell Inspirion 14 which was working normally(-ish) until recently when my laptop suddenly stopped connecting to the Internet and I'm not sure of the reason why. I did all the usual; restarting and resetting Wifi routers as well as restarting the laptop in order to resolve the issue, however I had no success.
At the same time, I noticed that there was a yellow sign on Windows Security telling me I had a " Core Isolation " issue; that my memory integrity was off and that I had incompatible drivers. I'm not sure if this is possibly related to my inability to access the Internet anymore, but I'd be grateful for any advice?
I've been downloading drivers from Dell all day in order to fix this however the problem still persists and I am unable to discover the root of this issue.
I'd be grateful for any advice or support that anyone can provide to help me resolve this?
Many thanks

Start with a full run of the Dell diagnostics -- press F12 a few times at powerup.
Report any errors that arise by number (2000-0151, etc.).
Also post the full system model (Inspiron 5493, etc.) -- on screen at powerup, F2 to access setup.

@ejn63 Hi! Thanks for your reply. I did all of the above, no error code came up which is confusing to me.

That points the finger toward a software issue. A clean reinstall of Windows is in order.

@ejn63 . Wow. Thanks for your feedback. Do you have any pointers on how I can reinstall Windows? Is it something anyone can do or should I leave it to the professionals and take it back to Dell to reinstall Windows?

Reinstallation of Windows may not resolve the memory integrity error issue. Also, your network connection issue was not caused by memory integrity settings. The error should indicate about a conflicted driver, it is likely with a CD/DVD virtual drive driver. To resolve the error message, you can simply click on "dismiss" under Device Security.
