They weren't shipped in this model, and bear in mind for any prospect of one working, you must have the version of the system with discrete video -- the quad core CPUs of this generation do not have GPUs aboard, so there's no integrated video support.
Currently i have p6200 pentium, hm57 chipset 024DTD motherboard. Will the i7-640m support this chipset and socket type, really confused with what socket type this board has because on Cpu-z its shows socket 989 rPga and on ark-intel there are options like ppga988, pga988, fcpga988, pga988a and 988b.
i7-640m should work because i have seen some geeky benchmarks with this setup, what about the temperatures ect. pls help

update,
i found out that socket 989 take can use both G1 and G2 socket ,which Cpu would be best.
