The right click on touchpad doesn't work
Inspiron 15 7559 Service Tag:
I bought this off someone for $200 knowing it had minor cosmetic damage and some heat troubles. Since I work in IT I could and did fix the thermal problems with some dusting and replacing thermal paste and the cosmetic problems can be fixed at a later date.
One issue that was not mentioned to me is that the right click on the touchpad doesn't seem to work, it always functions as a left click and very rarely right clicks. This is insanely irritating. I've opened up and reseated the touchpad cable while checking for any visible damage and can't find anything, I also tried reinstalling the touchpad drivers, is this a software/drive issue?

I resolved it, turns out right clicking wasn't possible unless I clicked with 2 fingers which was irritating.
Went into the Windows 10 touchpad settings and turned off the 2 fingers to right click and checked off to right click by tapping lower right corner. Issue is resolved.

If Dell's Touchpad driver/software is installed make sure the buttons are NOT disabled via software.
[click START button - Control Panel - Hardware and Sound - mouse]
>boot into "safe mode" - same problem?
>If the settings are fine run Dell Diagnostics - test system - custom test - pointing device - PS/2 mouse(=touchpad)
