Touch pad i2c hid device driver
Hello,
I have a Dell Inspiron 15 5510, and the touchpad is not functioning. I tried installing the I2C HID driver, but it isn’t updating. Could someone please assist me in resolving this issue?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,

Click here for troubleshooting and resolving the touchpad issue on your laptop.
To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them.
Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.

Solution is simple. In Bios change how mouse and touchpad should work connected together. That fixed problem for me after fighting with all other solutions - code 10 - chat gpt. Vostro 3400

Hey, dont have this dell any more, but there was a setting in bios where You can decide how touchpad works when usb mouse is connected. Send some bios photos maybe. Those options were something like: keep touchpad on when usb mouse conneted, turn off when usb mouse connected and something else. 3 options I remember, and changing them worked for me.
