E6420 e port plus with multile monitors

When I got my E6420 and e port plus, I was able to connect to 3 external monitors (2 DVI, 1 VGA) and use the LCD on the laptop as an extended desktop. Yesterday when I booted the laptop, it appeared to re-install the video driver for some reason, and now I can only connect to 2 monitors. Does anyone know what needs to be done to get all 4 of the monitors to work again? From what I can tell, the same driver was installed for the video card (Nvidia NVS 4200M).

Thanks in advance.

E6420's will only drive two displays.  So you can use two exteral monitors on any interface or one external + the internal LCD display.  If you want to use a 3rd display you need to buy a USB video adapter like the Display Link ones or there are a few vendors that actually make a completely usb powerd/driven external monitor but they don't seem to be as feature rich as a standard monitor.

I don't think it is driver releated, I think its a hardware limitation.
