Inspiron E 1505 screen problem

​Hello,​

​I have an E 1505 that is almost 2 years old (unfortunately only 1 yr warranty). It has worked fine up until last night. For reason, after I squeezed the part of the computer above the screen (that surrounds it) it made about 3/5 of my screen black out and now has funny colors. So I am forced to use 2/5 of my working screen now unless I pinch the place i hit originally which allows me to see the entire screen as long as i hold it down.​

​Has anyone else had a similar problem? If so is there anything that can be done?​

​Will I have to my a new laptop?/how much would you estimate it would cost to repair?​
