XPS 13 9343 Keyboard Fault

The following keys have become intermittently unresponsive on my keyboard: b, n, / , left arrow, down arrow, right arrow, and space. After a while and a few sleep cycles, those keys become fully dead. After a couple of reboots they are alive again... for a short time...  It's rendered the laptop completely useless for typing on!

This started to happen a few weeks ago, and I'm convinced it's some kind of hardware problem, since I've tried different BIOSes, different OSes, and the problem persists...  Even hitting F12 at boot to get the boot menu, I can't navigate down the menu, only up..!!  The problem only affects the internal keyboard, and not any external ones.

My machine is only 18 months old, but out of warranty..!!  What are my options..??

Reseat Keyboard cable and see if that makes a difference:

When my new Torx T5 screwdriver arrives in the post, I shall do precisely that, lol...

Cheers.

Thanks, I'll look into that if I can't fix it myself...

Reseated the keyboard ribbon, which looked ever so slightly at an angle, and so far so good... :-)
