Latitude 9450 making strange beeping noise when switched on

Question

We have had multiple reports from our Latitude 9450 users that when the laptop is switched on it will make a strange beeping noise. Its quite load and those around the laptop commented it sounded like the person was playing an old computer game. In most situations the laptop runs as normal but this morning the person who reported it said they needed to hard power off the laptop. There are no errors or indications from the laptop anything has happened.

This isn't POST (Power On Self Test) beeping, the laptop is switched on and is running when it happens.

We have only used Dell laptops for a number of years now and this issue has only happened with the 9450 laptops. It happens quite quickly and so we have been unable to record it.
