Not a huge deal. Probably just the pump bearing going bad. If you dont want to spend the premium for the alienware logo you can get a new system for like $100 at newegg. Search for Corsair H50 and it should swap right out. I believe the brackets should be the same but do more research before hand as im not 100% sure on that. I will be able to tell you when my new aurora r3 comes in, next week or so.
FYI I wouldnt wait too long either as if the pump does fail your CPU will quickly overheat and shutdown the computer. But dont worry no damage should come of it, even if that does happen. It SHOULD have a built in auto shutdown.
I spoke to tech support and because it's still under warranty they're going to send someone out monday to replace all my fans due to it being a complex task, I can't do it myself

added note: it doesn't happen all the time, it can go hours without the chirping sound and it's often very faint.

Normally chirping/ticking sounds would me mechanical. Either your HDD, a fan, or maybe the pump on the watercooling system.

Others have tried. IIRC, the connectors are different. Search forum.
Here is one:

... theres another somewhere because I posted a pic of mine also.
Also, the official Dell (Asetek) part for the Aurora and Area-51 are different.
