AW Command center keeps crashing on boot
I am running windows 8.1 on my Alienware 14 notebook and I keep having an issue where AW command center crashes on boot. The odd thing is if I start the program manually after that it works with no issue! I have made sure the latest drivers are in place but it still does it. I have even reloaded the note book but no luck. I have also tried setting it to run in windows 7 mode and as administrator with no luck. The error message is

Ok, so you tried running the computer with Win 8.1 and with Windows 7.
However still you face this error message.
I believe this calls for a re-installation of the Alien Command Center.
Just make sure to delete the Hidden folder within "My Documents" that is called "AlienFX".
That way we can go ahead and reset the AlienFX Profiles.

Great thanks for the assistance. The download link is
I basically go onto the support site.. put in my service tag, then go to download drivers and select it in the list of downloads provided.

I had this exact issue with my new 15. What I did to fix it was to first, uninstall Command Center. It may ask for a reboot. Do so. When it comes back up, go to your documents folder and delete the AlienFX folder and the AlienTactx folder. Open up control panel, and click on uninstall programs. Click, turn windows features on or off and when it pulls up, deselect the .net 3.5 and 4.5 boxes. Reboot. Re-enable both boxes. Install Command Center. Reboot.
