X51 Dead on Arrival

I heard all about Alienware and how good the quality was for a prebuilt, but it stopped working after only a couple of hours of turning it on for the first time.  Called tech support and they said a "watch battery" was dead in it and the tower needed to be replaced.  So this delays  the use of the computer by another 3-4 weeks.  After all the money I had spent on the product and after what I had heard about their reputation and with my personal experience with Dell,  I figured this computer was a safe buy.  Not having this computer is losing me money and on top of that Dell is expecting me to make payments on a computer that I don't have due to THEIR manufacturing problems.

I guess Dell doesn't really care about the quality of their products or about their customer's satisfaction.

If it only took a couple of hours to break, you should have returned it for a refund. Why wait a month hoping to fix it when you'd spend less time getting another one? Dell has serious logistical issues, and it has got to be costing them a lot of money. People need to stop trying to fix and troubleshoot products that are dead on arrival. These machines are some of the most expensive on the market - you should not have to work to get them to work.
