blue screen msg Error Code 2000-0142 hard drive ,
Sons new pc appox 4mths old hardly used maybe only used 2 hrs a wk , blue screen msg Error Code 2000-0142 hard drive , tried booting wont happen, want to run fix it. fix-it just keeps restarting, wont start system. tried booting though reinstaling op sytstm ..no go there. get to start up ad stalls again, run diagnosic CD Symptom tree- Service tag tes ad is keep stopping on Confidence tests any ideas on how anyone can help me he tells me he has lost his reciept from the store he brought it, souds like taking it back wont be an option hope someone can help

Contact Dell with the error message and they'll send a replacement hard drive for your current one, which has failed.

Thankyou very much, contacted Dell as you suggested. and hard drive replaced today. very impressed with their service.thankyou
