Dell XPS1330 Display Problem
I have Dell XPS Model and I am facing problem of Vertical Lines in Display. I have updated Bios A15 and NVidia Latest Display Driver, but then also my display boot is intermittent. sometimes system boos perfect and sometimes even DELL Logo does not comes, kindly suggest me.

This sounds very much like the problem I had with my wife's 1330. We wound up contacting Dell Support who detemined the problem was the integrated video itself. They wound up replacing the motherboard under warranty. Hopefully your's is still under warrnty as well. In researching this there were a lot of others who had the same problem. Call Dell Support.

Yes, it sounds like the nVidia chip is gone. If you are under warranty, Dell will replace the motherboard (nVidia chip is integrated into the motherboard). Also, they will extend your warranty for another year. I've had the problem once so far; it didn't last long from the vertical lines to completely dead; about a day. Good luck.
