Docking Station Serial Number
Good Morning.
Is there a way that I can get the docking station serial number whilst the laptop is connected to the docking station? Is there a script that I can run or where is the info kept in the registry? The info must be somewhere. The problem is I dont know where to go and look for it....

Hi,
Are you using a Dell Docking station?
Usually the serial nos. are listed on a bar-coded sticker on the docking station itself. It may or may not be possible to get the serial number without removing the laptop from the docking station or using a script. If you are using a Dell docking station, then reply with the model no. so that I can assist you further.
