Function Keys Problem
Hello,
i am new here and this is my 1st post. I bought a brand new laptop DELL Inspiron N5110 yesterday with original Win 7 Home Premium i installed microsoft essentials and updated and scanned the pc. Also downloaded and installed all win7 updates. The hard drive was only 1 partition ""C: SYSTEM"" 698gb. So i merged it to 50 and made a D: with ~650gb and after that i installed daemon tools lite. It asked me to restart the PC and boom i lost my windows... Black screen after the DELL logo and msg which was saying something about intel patents and many numbers and something else i don't remember. It was also saying something about a boot. Anyway i inserted the original win cd and reinstalled it. I downloaded all the drivers from dell.com and installed most of them, because some of them were not for my model i guess... Anyway i was shocked how i lost my windows but that problem i fixed with lots of nerves :D Now my problem is that when i use the function keys i don't see the animation that shows a picture of the button i use and a meter that moves when i volume. For example the sound or the brightness of the screen. The keys work but i don't see anything so my question is: Is it a Win7 animation that i have to turn on from somewhere in the settings or it is a driver that i need to install ? If it's a specific driver please give me a link or send it to my email
