Inspiron B130 Question

I am trying to find out if my Inspiron B130 has sata capability. I know that I can buy a Sata Expresscard, but I would like to know if there is a sata on the motherboard. Im more of a software person than a hardware person, so I dont know how to find out. Thanks for the help :)

There is no SATA support in the system, nor do you have an Express Card socket. Your system uses the older EIDE drives and has a PCMCIA socket, not Express Card.

Are you sure I dont have Expresscard? All the specs I have found state say I have Expresscard. Plus, this is a link to the blank insert I have in the slot: http://www.impactcomputers.com/pf795.html.

I stand corrected - it is an Express Card.

I not sure about what diamond said about the PCMCIA & Express slot. That the Inspiron B130 does not have a Expresscard slot - I have the Inspiron B130 laptop and it has a Expresscard slot.

What is it that I don't understand?

Thanks

There is a slot for one. You need to purchase the Express Card, along with a plan and then install it.
