3008WFP, maximum resolution issue

Hi, I am running Windows 10 and the latest Nvidia display driver. I am using a 4K Ultra HD HDMI cable to connect the 3008WFP. My video card is a 2080 Ti, however, the maximum resolution available to me in Windows display settings, or Nvidia control panel is 1920x1080. The monitor runs at 2560x1600, why can I not access this?

I have had the 3008WFP nearly 10 years now and it still works perfectly, but along the way, I have misplaced the original display cable, which it used to work perfectly with.

Do you think its cable related? If so, is it possible to buy a replacement of the original cable? And why does the Ultra HD cable I am using not work?

Thanks

The HDMI 1.1 port could never do 2560x1600 60Hz. The DP and both DVI-D ports can do 2560x1600 60Hz.

Dell does not have the cabling. You will have to search the web =
