S2722QC, stopped functioning
A few hours ago my S2722QC completely stopped working. The screen lights up a bit when it's turned on, but there are no graphics on screen at all. I've checked the S2722QC User's Guide.
- Page 66 (Self Test). I turned off my laptop and the monitor. I unplugged the laptop from the monitor, so there is a USB-C cable in the monitor but nothing on the other end of it. I turned the monitor back on. The screen lights up a bit, and the white power LED comes on. No floating dialog box appears, nor does anything else
- Page 67 (Built-in diagnostics). I press and hold Button 4 for >4 seconds, no pop-up menu appears. No menu appears if I hold any button for >4 seconds. I am therefore unable to use the diagnostic tool
- If I plug it back in to my laptop, the laptop detects it as normal, and is provided power over the USB-C cable. This tells me that neither the USB-C ports nor the cable are broken. But the monitor continues not to display anything
- I've tried unplugging the monitor for >5 minutes and then plugging it back in, this didn't make any difference
Is there anything else that I can do to debug this? Thank you!

Click the DELL-Cares username. On the resulting page, click "Send this user a private message". Provide to them the private S2722QC Service Tag, your private shipping data, phone, email, etc. Then they will need to setup a like for like S2722QC exchange.

* Turn the Laptop off
* Plug the provided external power adapter into the Laptop
* Turn the Laptop on and get all the way into the operating system
* Disconnect every cable including the power cable from the S2722QC
* Disconnect every USB-A device from the S2722QC
* Press and hold in the S2722QC power button for 8 seconds
* Reconnect the power cable to the S2722QC
* Reconnect the USB-C cable to the S2722QC
* Reconnect the other end of the USB-C to the Laptop
* Turn the S2722QC on. What happens?

Hi Chris, this didn't make any difference unfortunately. After plugging it back in I'm in the same position: the laptop recognises the monitor and the monitor doesn't display anything.
