S2725QS, dual, weird washed out image running in 120Hz (and other issues)
I just bought these two monitors from Amazon a couple of days ago. Since then, twice I've found one of the monitors looks like the one on the right. I believe I've seen it happen on both monitors, but never both at the same time.
To fix it I only need to power off the monitor using the button, wait a second and power it back on, which isn't a huge inconvenience. But, if this is a sign a faulty monitor, I'd like to address it now while they are brand new.
For the record, there is a kvm setting between the monitors and PC which supports 4k@120. My cables all say they ae at least 4k@120.
I'm using the HDMI cables that came with the monitors to go from them to the kvm. Between the kvm and my PC I have two high speed (8k) hdmi to displayport cables (hdmi at the kvm and displayport at video card).
Video card is rtx 3060ti if that facts in.
Other weirdness I've noticed:
At least once one of the monitors refused to be 3840x2160 if running at 120hz. It would do it in 60hz but not 120hz. Rebooting didn't fix it. I fixed it by unplugging the hdmi-to-displayport cables at the kvm and plugging them back in.

Before Dell Support can assist, you have to go HERE, insert the private S2725QS Service Tags one at a time. Then click, "Register your device". This must be done to both S2725QS to get the "ownership" out of Amazon name and into your name.
For testing purposes =
* Remove the KVM. You must test both S2725QS directly to the RTX 3060 Ti
* Setup to only have ONE S2725QS attached at a time directly to the RTX 3060 Ti HDMI out port
* You should be using the HDMI 2.1 to HDMI 2.1 cable provided in the S2725QS box
In that one monitor at a time test, do you see the issue?
Then also without the KVM, connect the S2725QS directly to the RTX 3060 Ti DP out port via a DP to DP cable. In that one monitor at a time test, do you see the issue?

One of the monitors just switched to 60hz from 120hz and when I try to go back it forces 2560x14400 instead of 3840x2160 like the other one.
and here is the other monitor:

I also just noticed, the hdmi-to-display port cables are hot to the touch on the hdmi side (kvm) but not the displayport side (pc).

@DELL-Chris M When I put in my service tags and click "Register your device" it doesn't work out. It takes me to a page that asks me to run the auto detect app, which I do, but since my computer isn't a dell, it fails. The only other choice I have is:
"If you are unable to use product detection or are trying to register peripherals such as monitors, docks or other accessories, click here to submit your registration "
But that takes me to an asset transfer page which is asking me to provide info about the previous owner.
If I go under "my products" I see both monitors listed.
Your idea for a test is a good one! I'm going to set it up now and report back. Since my 3060ti only has 1 hdmi output, I can only test 1 of the included cables. For the other I will use one of the 8k hdmi-to-displayport to see if it has an issue and/or if it continues to get hot at the hdmi side.

"provide info about the previous owner."
Can you try to add data there like Amazon, country, online, etc. in the blanks asking for seller data to see if the form accepts the data?
