U2227DE, success updating firmware from M3T104 to M3T107

As i was working on this Topic 2 nights long. I wann give a hint to everybody with issues. I was, after 2 nights of trying to update my firmware to M3T107, finally able to fix this issue.

Instead of using the standard USB-C to USB-C cable, I used an USB-A to USB-C cable to connect to the Monitor. With this connection i was able to fullfill the firmware update. I used an current Win 11 System.

I hope this will save someone time when trying to upgrade the firmware.

I didn't use any Display connection. Just USB-A to USB-C (but not the upstream Port#7). To be honest, i didn't knew about the upstream port. I always used den DP-USB-C-Port #5.

I think i was blind before and may have safed me "some" time if i'would have read the Users Guide right...

Thanks for pointing me out.

Good work! From the Windows 11 system, were you connecting via the DP to DP cable or HDMI to HDMI cable to the U2722DE? Then you connected the USB-A to USB-C cable to U2722DE #7 USB-C upstream port? See page 13.
