U2414H, DP issues, A01, #2
I have the same issue with my monitors. Is there a reason we cannot have access to the updated firmware? It seems odd that it is only available through your service centers. In the meantime, we are forced to accept monitors that are defective?

That was a policy decision made by the Dell Displays team.
As with any Dell monitor still under the purchased warranty;
* After you have contacted Dell Technical Support for your country and they have troubleshot the monitor and deemed it defective, it would be exchanged
* The refurbished replacement will have the latest firmware installed

Why is there no "in-home" firmware update? It seems like this would be one the easiest ways Dell could help their customers: By releasing the firmware upgrade software and let us do the work ourselves!
