U2414H, screen flickering constantly
Hello,
My U2414Hb started flickering constantly with about 4 second intervals. Also a horizontal line appeared on top of the screen.
The same happens with pc cable unplugged. Tried with a different power cable, but no change. Factory reset did nothing.
I have made a short video.
Is it fixable or I need a new monitor?

Reply to the private message from DELL-Cares with the private Service Tag number. If the U2414H does not have a Service Tag number, provide to them the 20 digit serial number.
The video shows it connected to the PC. We need to see a video of the monitor when NOT connected to any video cable and running the stand alone Built-in Diagnostics, page 58.

@pepe_sc Not trying to defend Dell here as I am a customer like you.
But ensure to maximum warranty possible of whichever brand you go for
I am sys admin for my company and purchase items in bulk. For premium monitors (above 300$) I always go with 3 year warranty.

This is where troubleshooting ends, you have done everything you could. Dell doesn't have a firmware update for this model. I hope that your Monitor is in warranty. Some monitors come with a year and some with 3 years advanced exchange.
if you have a service tag you may check the warranty at Product Support | Dell US
If you don't have a service tag, check your invoice or order details at Order Support | Dell US
In your order line items one of the items should have an Advance exchange 3 years.
If no warranty yes you need a new monitor.

Hello,
I have responded to private message and provided additional videos.
Any further feedback, pls ?
I am quite annoyed that DELL monitor lasted only 4 years, not to mention that a vertical line appeared on the screen just after warranty period ended... Looks like a have to get a new monitor again...
