U2515H, power button not working

My U2515H has the same problem. In a beautiful day, I cant turn it on any more, after many tries I used my hairdryer to focus on the button for 15 seconds then the button got to work, hope this help (although this is only a temporary solution).

You replied to a 3 year old thread. Started a new thread. If still inside the purchased 3 year warranty, read this. If out of warranty, you should simply leave it on. Use the operating system to "sleep" the monitor after 5 minutes.

Even after many years...
Love these U series. I have 2. One is working fine for years. The other one is 2nd hand and had the same problem. Between the buttons and the screen there is a yellow card or something but it does not cover the power button back. When it gets hot the power button does not work. So putting 3-4 layers of paper between the bottons and the screen fixes the problem.

Now I am dealing with D6000 dock, it repeats keyboard (wired) strokes and mouse (unifying) frequently hangs with G315 firmware/bios updated.

Btw I start using D6000 to disable GPU on G315 to lower the temp and not to listen the fans' noise while coding :D.

Anyway, love Dell.
Love from Istanbul.
