U3818DW, DDM for macOS?
Good Morning,
A few years ago I paid full retail price ($1500) for the U3818DW.
This is a great monitor but to my surprise DDM (Dell Display Manager) did not exist for the macOS.
DDM has recently been released for the macOS but to my surprise my awesome and expensive monitor is not supported.
I assume that since DDM is supported for this monitor in Windows that the issue must be firmware related.
Will there be a firmware update be released to add DDM support for the macOS?
Obviously this monitor is older and I don't think I am entitled to support, but it would certainly be nice to know if support ill eventually be added.

The DDM software team has stated that here are no plans to create a DDM for macOS for any monitors released "before" those shown on the DDM for macOS 1.50.0.0039, "Compatible Systems".

Are there any plans to release additional firmware for my monitor?

Unknown. Like you, all we can do is periodically check the U3818DW driver page.
