U4025QW, macOS 26.1 Tahoe, detection issue unable to connect
Ever since updating to the latest macOS 26 Tahoe (26.1), the U4025QW is unable to detect my Macbook Pro M2 max via the thunderbolt port. On my Mac side it seems to be repeatedly connecting and disconnecting from the monitor and the whole computer starts to freeze up.
The monitor via thunderbolt works fine on my other Macbook which is running the previous version of macOS Tahoe (26.0.1) and my gfs Macbook which is running Sequoia, this only started after I installed 26.1.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? I tried updating to the latest firmware M3T105 (which btw the installer doesn't even work on macOS, I had to use a Windows VM and even that took multiple tries) and that did not fix things. Insane that Dell doesn't bother to test betas with a nearly $2000 monitor, the stable release of 26.1 went out today.

Instant update. Despite not actually using daisy chain, I changed the Thunderbolt Daisy Chain settings in the monitor from ‘Standard’ to ‘Optimized’ and presto, its working again.

I have the same problem, Mac Studio M2 with u4025qw connected over TB and second display over DP, plugged directly into the Studio (no daisy chain). If the u4025qw is on, MacOS is terribly slow, spinning wheel all the time and mouse cursor does not render on menu bars.
Turn the u4025qw off and it runs like clockwork.
It was working fine on MacOS 26.0.1.

Had the same issue. And I actually had 2 of these screens stacked. Both plugged in thunderbolt.
Funnily one of them was working but not the second. I changed the cable of the second screen to a certified 8k thunderbolt cable and everything works again.
