ULTRASHARP 2408WFP : Calibration issues.
I just got the ULTRASHARP 2408WFP A01, and when I hooked everything up and starting using it, I noticed that the color of the text was a little off. That is, all the text had a small line of color around the black text. I know that the problem is with the color alignment, or focus, but I can not figure out how to callibrate it. What i need is to be able to manually shift the red, blue and green images a few pixles so that they line up.
I have done the following, and it has resulted in no improvements.
- checked that windows display settings was at 60HZ
- checked that I am using the native resolution of 1920x1200
- performed a factory reset
- performed LCD conditioning
- adjusted brightness, contrast, RGB settings, sharpness, and color modes
- used different DVI cables (note: the use of DVI prevents me from using Auto Adjust for some odd reason - only availible with VGA)
- I have tried pressing the (+) button many times to confirm this...
For reference, I am using a DVI-D connection off of a Geforce 260 video card which worked fine with my older 2405WFP display.
Any help in fixing this problem is appreciated. I'd hate to have to send it back to be replaced when the problem should, by all means, be easily fixable.
