All clients Remote Access

Hi Johan,

It seems that you are trying to do a directed restore from source client to destination client, so for that you need the access requirements to perform directed recoveries are as follows:

1- Users in the Administrators group on the NetWorker server are automatically granted the necessary privileges. So you can add your administrator@machinename in the NetWorker Administrators list

2- The recovery must be launched by the root user or Windows Administrator on the administering client.

3- The root user or Windows Administrator on the administering client must have the Remote Access All Clients privilege on the NetWorker server.

4-  SYSTEM@destination_clientmust be listed in the source client’s Remote Access list.

5- SYSTEM@destination_client must have the Recover Local Data privilege.

If the user on the destination client does not have Remote Access All Clients privileges, then the user@destination_client must be listed in the source client’s Remote Access list. And I think most probably this is your case answer if i am correct that you are trying to perform directed recovery.
