Networker & Data Domain via Boost

I have configured a Data Domain device using Boost within NetWorker and I get the following error when the index is trying to get backed up.

index 39077:save: error, no matching devices for save of client `*************; check storage nodes, devices or pools.

I noticed when I created the Data Domain Device in Networker that it automatically added one of the Tape Devices along with the Data Domain rd: devices. I deselected the Tape device because the customer wants to get away from tape. I'm thinking I'm getting the error due to that the metadata along with the bootstrap information is trying to get backup to tape for DR purposes

Any help is always appreciated.

Hi,

You will need to check your pool configuration to see where your index backup is defined to go.  It is likely that it doesn't match the selection criteria for the pool that you expect it to go to. The bootstrap backup will have to go to a device which is local to the NetWorker server (not an rd= device).
