Powerconnect 3348-saving running configuration

Question

I am trying to copy the running configuration to the startup configuration on the 3348 switch. When I hit 'apply changes' the system takes the action, but I get an 'Action Cancelled' screen.   If I power down the switch, it reverts to its old (default) configuration upon startup and my VLANs disappear.

Try doing the save via command line, either by console or telnet access. #copy run start See if that gives any error messages.
