4300S and AT&T Plug&Share 6550G wireless adapter
I have an upgraded Dimensio 4300S with 120G hard drive, 128 + 512 MB memory
abd Windows XP Professional SP2. I have been trying to install
AT&T Plug&Share wireless adapter (second hand). When I have installed
both adapter and its driver the computer freezes when booting at
the login prompt. In order to boot Windoze I have to remove the adapter.
Any hints and tips are appreciated.

With the adapter physically installed, try clearing NVRAM using the instructions listed for your model in the following message:
http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=dim_bios&message.id=41042
This will force the BIOS to redetect all devices.
