Dell Desktop PC optiplex 3020 intel core i5
Hello
I have never had difficulty finding the available 'wifi' on any of our home computers- yet no wifi is seen on my recent purchase of the above desktop. It keeps offering 'broadband' and has the wifi option marked out in the lower right corner of the screen. We have VERY robust wifi through out our home.
Any suggestions? Can't do much with this purchase without internet.

Hello,
If you right click on the wireless icon does it give you the option to turn on / activate wireless? If it's grayed out then it sounds like wireless is turned off. What version of Windows are you running on that system? The Opti 3020 has the options for Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. So the steps to checking on wireless is different in each.
Also, do you know which wireless card you purchased with the system? Was it a Dell wireless card or Intel? Looking at the sales page for the Opti 3020 it doesn't look like it comes standard with a wireless card.
Let me know a bit more about your system and I'll see what else I can suggest you try.

I just bought one and I think I didn't ask for the wireless adapter, so which one should I buy?
