Latitude X300 wireless driver. Which one???

I've just bought an X300 second hand but can't work out which of these 19 wireless http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/devices.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&osl=en&SystemID=LAT_PNT_P4_X300&os=WW1 drivers I need.  Any ideas how I can tell?

Go the Dell Support site, (click Technical Support at the top of the Dell Forum window) then click on Original System Configuration, enter the service tag number for that computer, and see if you get a hint there.

The list I am referring does not list any drivers whatsoever.  It only lists components that were shipped with your computer.  If you send me a private message containing your service tag, I'll see what I can find.

Yes I have followed your instructions and the only thing the Dell database seems to know about my service tag is that it's an X300. It then askes me to select an OS and then has a huge list of drivers.

This is different to the Optiplex desktop systems I have at work. When I input their service tag I get a very specific list with just the drivers for the components that system has.

What same list?  Are you following the directions I gave.  If you click on Original System Configuration and enter your service tag, it brings up a list of the components shipped on that computer.

Service tag still brings back the same list.

Sorry,

I was on the wrong section of the Dell website. The box I was originaly entering a service tag into provided nothing usefull. I have now downloaded the correct driver and it seems to be working. Thank you again for your help.
