modem driver

please help! I have been on the phone for 2 days with Dell regarding the modem in my L800R. They tell me that it is a Titan data fax voice modem.(V90)? They told me to go to the Titan www site and download the driver for it, but there is none to be had. My question is- is there ANY other (generic?) modem driver that I can use? Thanks in advance for the help.
