9030 Optiplex AIO support assist install error 1639
OptiPlex 9030 All-In-One
Good morning team,
found service tag via CMD as above, and tried to install Support Assist.
However it came up with error code 1639, with a clickable error code link, which led to this page: dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-nz/000216283 which reads "This article is permission based. Find another article."
I see from another conversation that this "permission based" error means there is more recent information? I also see from this support request that advice is to uninstill visual studio - but in my case I don't have it installed.
Have tried to install after several reboots at different settings but just read about SSD sata settings and mine is currently set to RAID instead of ACHI. Will change that and report if works otherwise any advice much appreciated.

If Support Assist won't install, try Dell Command Update.
You're really not mising much of anything without SA. It was good on Win7 with finding necessary drivers. Win10 on up does that for you. (Most drivers, not all.)
