Dell dimension 3000 GPU options?

Hello, I’m upgrading my dell dimensions Graphics card. It currently doesn’t have one and I’m using the integrated graphics. I’m looking for suggestions. Any are welcome but my budget is $150. I would purchase a new system entirely but I’m currently stuck with that I have. If you have any suggestions please tell me thanks!

The trick is finding a PCI card (NOT PCIe) that will work for a low price. The system is getting pretty old (almost 15 years now) and any upgrading is going to be a bit of a treasure hunt. The following post might help but it is almost 7 years old and the information may no longer pertain. I realize that you cannot upgrade, the best solution, so digging around the Internet retailers will produce limited results.

Something like this might be the best bet for your budget.

Thing is that a newer system would be money better spent than upgrading the 15 year old dimension.

I know that this is over a year old, but wondering how you did?  Another good option that I have done many times is replace the Dimension 3000 motherboard with a Dimension 4600 motherboard (not 4600c).  These are $25 - $30 on ebay and support an AGP graphics card which are pretty available.
