Nautilus Firmware Update Utility Forgotten About or Dropped from Support?
Looking for info on this utility after not being able to apply firmware updates via the most recent SUU or by downloading the specific update for RHEL 8 for our R340s. Support said I could download the windows version of the update and apply via LifeCycle but that does not work and per this article it is not supposed to work.
So the article said to use this Nautilus software which I have never heard of before (not have my coworkers). The web page does not show that the R340 is supported...it does show the R760 is and the software is not there either.
Dell Nautilus Firmware Update Utility: Bootable media for automatic Hard Drive updates | Dell US
So curious if anyone knows about this software?
Any ideas for how to ALWAYS be able to apply firmware for SAS HDD or SSDs?
BTW I gave up on the Dell Repository Manager as it is just too buggy and unreliable at creating an ISO that I can boot from to install updates. The SUU has worked in the past and what I have been using for the last year or so after giving up on DRM ever working reliably. ::sigh::

Hi,
You can try to use this https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-my/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=9rp29&oscode=wst14&productcode=poweredge-r340. I suspect that engineering has missed the putting the file online for R340 page. Give the page a try and let us know the outcome.

Thanks! I was able to extract the firmware from the Windows driver version using 7-ZIP and use the URL you shared with this updated firmware to get the server updated.
