PERC 6/i battery and light
i bought a Dell Power Edge PERC 6i PCI-e SAS Raid Controller Card T774H from eBay and my dell power edge detects it but its does not have a battery can i get any batter or is their a specific type that i have to use.
my dell power edge 2900 also blinks a amber light it turns on and off i don't know what that means if anyone can tell me that would be nice

It would require a specific battery, being part # NU209, which we no longer offer, but you can look at 3rd parties.
The amber light is a fault indication, which may be due to the missing battery, or possibly another fault as well. I would verify what error is being displayed on the LCD and then move forward.
