Does Powerpath coexists or work with Veritas DMP
Hi Team,
We have LINUX Host (SLES [x86_64] 11 SP3). Having below software.
Veritas File System: VRTSvxfs-6.1.1.000-SLES11
Veritas Volume Manager: VxVM 6.1.1
Veritas Volume Manager DMP module: vxdmp is loaded
Veritas Cluster Server: Cluster Server (VCS) 6.1.1
Now, we are planning to migrate these hosts from 3PAR to Unity using PPME.
can Powerpath coexist with Veritas Volume Manager?

Veritas DMP and PowerPath cannot manage the same devices. This document, https://support.emc.com/docu87287_PowerPath-for-Linux-6.3-and-Minor-Releases-Installation-and-Administration-Guide.pdf?l… explains how to exclude EMC arrays from DMP path management.
