Prod server so had to do this while the server was up

Before the replacement ran

powermt disable HBA=1

powermt remove HBA=1

rmdev -Rl fcs1 -d

Did the hot swap procedure and IBM replaced the HBA

ran cfgmgr and the HBA became available

ran powermt config

The first time powerpath did not see the HBA

So I ran rmdev -Rl fcs1 -d , cfgmgr and powermt config again and this time powerpath saw the HBA but on some of the LUNS only had one path to one SP not a path to both SP.

Also two of the hdiskX have PVID's where only the hdiskpowerX should have PVIDs

Has anyone ever see this before and have a solution short of rebooting the server
